With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for a Dock and Door Technician in Dartmouth to join our growing Nova Scotia Team.

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor you will be responsible for:

· Dock and Door installation, maintenance, and inspection

· Perform repairs in addition to installation and maintenance dock and door parts

· Service will include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs as per the equipment

· Diagnosing electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs

· Analyze and diagnose dock levelers, vehicle restraints

· Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections on warehouse facilities

· Install dock equipment including shelters, seals, lights, bollards, vehicle restraints, levelers, high speed doors, and overhead doors

Skill Requirements:

· Must have 2-5 years dock and door experience.

· Must have strong welding skills

· Good analytical skills to diagnose mechanical problems with minimal supervision

· Good mechanical aptitude with an ability to service a diverse range of equipment

· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and managers; positive attitude, and good work ethic

· Provide current and suitable Driver’s Abstract.

· Provide current and suitable Driver’s License.

· Ability to lift to 70 lbs.

· Ability to manage multiple jobs at one time

· Ability to complete paperwork for multiple jobs accurately and timely
