Shop Service Technician — Dartmouth
We are the largest company in Atlantic Canada dedicated exclusively to material handling equipment; we have been providing our customers with high quality equipment, rentals, parts, and service since 1993. This role is based at our Dartmouth NS location, with branches in New Brunswick.
The Role
Responsibilities
Equipment maintenance and mechanical upkeep
Perform scheduled maintenance
Service customer equipment cost-effectively
Verify parts inventory
Complete service reports and timecards
Ship and receive machines and parts
Manage shop space (reposition equipment)
Maintain OH&S compliance
Complete service-revenue billing documentation
Attend supervisor-directed training
What You Bring
Requirements
Industrial experience valued
Electrical / diesel / hydraulic / automotive / heavy-equipment background
Able to diagnose with minimal oversight
Able to multi-task
Able to lift 70 lbs
Accurate, timely paperwork
Interpersonal and collaboration skills
Automotive Service Technician Certification / Red Seal preferred
